Vaccination System

Vaccination Method

Kanazawa City is currently considering the following vaccination reception methods. Further announcements will be made once decisions on which medical institutions will be used as vaccination venues are finalized.

Vaccination Method Details
Individual VaccinationsLocal medical institutions, family doctors etc.
Collective Vaccinations・Special venue set up by the city: Kanazawa Regional Emergency Center (during the daytime on Saturdays and Sundays)
・Location-specific (mass vaccination at a special site such as a hospital or adjacent area)
・Date/time-specific (vaccination at a hospital outpatient clinic etc. on a specific date and time)
Traveling Vaccinations (for residents of senior citizen care facilities etc.)Vaccinations received via "traveling vaccination squads" for facilities that wish to be inoculated

Vaccination through Coordination of the Ishikawa Central Urban Area (4 cities and 2 towns)

In principle, you must receive your vaccination at a medical institution located in the same municipality as the address on your residence card (hereinafter referred to as "place of residence"). If you wish to receive the vaccination at a medical institution outside of your place of residence, you must apply to the municipality where the medical institution you wish to receive the vaccination is located.
However, if your place of residence and the medical institution where you receive the vaccination are both within the Ishikawa Central Urban Area (4 cities and 2 towns)*, you do not need to apply even if the medical institution is outside the specific city in which you reside.

*The 4 cities and 2 towns of the Ishikawa Central Urban Area include: Kanazawa City, Nonoichi City, Hakusan City, Kahoku City, Tsubata Town and Uchinada Town
