マイナンバーカード本体の更新（有効期限到来）について

＜日本人住民の場合＞

マイナンバーカード本体の有効期限は、発行日から10回目の誕生日です。なお、18歳未満の方（令和4年4月1日以前は20歳未満の方）は、容姿の変化を考慮し5回目の誕生日となります。

電子証明書だけの有効期限（発行日から5回目の誕生日）が到来する場合は、別の手続きが必要となります。次のリンクをご覧ください。

＜外国人住民の場合＞

<For foreign residents>

発行日から10回目の誕生日(18歳未満の方は5回目の誕生日)と比べて、以下の日付の方が早ければ、その日がマイナンバーカードの有効期限になります。

If any of the following dates is earlier than the 10th birthday from the date of issuance of your My Number Card (the 5th birthday for those under 18), that date will be the expiration date of your My Number Card.

マイナンバーカード本体の有効期限の3か月前から更新手続きを行うことができます。更新手数料は無料です。（例えば、7月7日が有効期限であれば、4月8日から無料での更新の対象となります。4月7日までは有料での再交付となります。）

※有効期限の3か月前になると、医療機関などでマイナンバーカードを提示すると、更新が必要である旨の警告が表示されます。

マイナンバーカード本体の有効期限の約2か月半前に、地方公共団体情報システム機構（差出人は金沢市）から本人あてに有効期限通知書が届きます（「普通郵便」「転送不要」の郵便）。

なお、在留期間満了によるマイナンバーカードの有効期限到来の場合は有効期限通知書が送付されません。在留期間を変更した後、忘れずにマイナンバーカードの有効期限も変更してください。

Please note that if your My Number Card expires due to the expiration of your period of stay, you will not receive an expiration date notice. After changing your period of stay, be sure to also change the expiration date on your My Number Card.

有効期限が経過しても日本人住民についての再交付は原則無料ですが、外国人については在留期間満了のためマイナンバーカードの有効期限が切れてしまった場合は有料です。

In principle, reissuance of a My Number Card is free for Japanese residents even if the card has expired, but for foreigners, there is a fee if the My Number Card has expired due to the expiration of their residence period.

日本人住民及び永住者・高度専門職第2号・特別永住者である外国人住民の新しいマイナンバーカードの申請は、有効期限通知書に同封の交付申請書を使って郵送又はWebで行うか、市役所本庁または市民センターの窓口で行うことができます。

中長期在留者（永住者・高度専門職第2号を除く）である外国人住民の新しいマイナンバーカードの申請は、市役所本庁舎または市民センターの窓口で行うことができます。

Foreign residents who are mid- to long-term residents (excluding permanent residents and highly skilled professionals type 2) can apply for a new My Number card at the counter of the City Hall Main Building or Citizen Center.

マイナンバーカードの有効期限は、在留期間満了日と同じ日になります。在留期間が変わったときは、マイナンバーカードにもその情報を書く必要があります。

The expiration date of your My Number Card will be the same as the expiration date of your period of stay. If your period of stay changes, you will need to write that information on your My Number Card as well.

在留期間を変えたら、以前の在留期間満了日が来る前に、必ず市役所本庁舎または市民センターの窓口で手続きしてください。

If you change your period of stay, be sure to complete the necessary procedures at the City Hall Main Building or Citizen Center counter before your previous period of stay expires.

以前の在留期間満了日が過ぎても手続きをしなかった場合、マイナンバーカードが使えなくなります。この場合、マイナンバーカードを作り直す（再発行）ためにはお金を支払う必要があるので、忘れずにお手続きをしてください。

If you do not complete the procedure by the time your previous period of stay expires, your My Number Card will become unusable. In this case, you will need to pay to have another My Number Card issued, so be sure to complete the procedure.

※在留期間満了によるマイナンバーカードの有効期限切れの場合、有効期限通知書は届きません。

以下のものを持って、本人が市役所本庁舎または市民センターの窓口に来てください。

Please come to the City Hall Main Building or Civic Center counter in person with the following items:

在留期間の更新許可申請をしたが、マイナンバーカードの有効期限までに在留資格変更や在留期間更新の許可が下りない場合、お持ちのマイナンバーカードの有効期限を特例で2か月延長することができます。

If you have applied for permission to extend your period of stay but are not granted permission to change your residence status or extend your period of stay by the expiration date of your My Number card, you can extend the expiration date of your My Number card by two months as an exception.

（注意）申請中の在留期間満了日までマイナンバーカードの有効期限を延長する手続きではありません。新しい在留カードを受け取った後、マイナンバーカードの有効期限を在留期間満了日と同じにする手続きも行ってください。

(Note) This is not a procedure to extend the expiration date of your My Number Card until the expiration date of your current period of stay. After receiving your new residence card, you will also need to complete the procedure to make the expiration date of your My Number Card the same as the expiration date of your period of stay.

（注意）特例期間延長の再延長は認められません。
